A four-hour awareness training for workers who have to deal occasionnally with work at heights situations. The main objective is to provide knowledge and skills necessary to identify and avoid hazards in work at heights locations.
In addition, the participant will learn how to inspect and put a full body harness on in order, for example, to operate an aerial lift or a scissor lift.
The participant will not be considered as a competent person for work at heights at the end of this training.
Educational approach
- Theoretical presentation.
- Written exam.

on the workplace. The participant will be provided knowledge on fall hazards, basics of fall protection, inspection and proper use of the equipment.
Participants will be authorized to work at heights under
the supervision of a competent worker.
Educational approach
- Theoretical presentation combined with hands-on exercises.
- Harness donning workshop.
- Written exam.

A training for workers who must perform tasks at heights on the workplace.
The participant will be provided knowledge on fall hazards, basics of fall protection, inspection and proper use of the equipment. In addition, basic rigging techniques will be taught to give the participant the knowledge to install fall protection systems in the workplace.
Participants will be authorized to work at heights and to supervise authorized workers.
Educational approach
- Theoretical presentation combined with hands-on exercises.
- Harness inspection and adjustment workshop.
- Hands-on workshops.
- Written exam and practical evaluation.

A refresher program for worker already certified as a competent person.
According to health and safety standards, every worker mustattend yearly a refresher training on fall protection basics.
The participant will have to demonstrate his skills on fall protection and will be informed on any standards modifications.
Educational approach
Through a hands-on evaluation, the participant will have to show his skills in fall protection.
Attendee must also succeed a written exam with a score of 85% or more.

The goal of this training is to challenge the rescue plan on the workplace through a rescue simulation.
All employees who could be involved in a rescue at heights (or confined spaces, such as silos or containers) situation should attend this training in order to know the procedure.
The participant will learn the workplace procedures of a rescue plan, will learn how to use the rescue equipment properly and will be able to participate to the rescue according to his skills in work at heights.
