Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System

Description

This course has been developed for workers in workplaces where chemical products are used.

At the end of this training, the participant will know how to recognize and explain the meaning of pictograms and other symbols used in the workplaces, will be able to understand the hazards of the materials they are exposed to, and the measures they should take to protect themselves by refering to a Material Safety Data Sheet.

Educational approach

Theoretical presentation combined with exercises. Written exam and practical evaluations.

Training fees are acceptable as tax credit for the private individuals.

By offering this training to his employees, the employer increases the level of accident prevention on the workplace besides meeting his legal obligations according to Health and safety regulations (article 51) (articles 3, 4, 324, 338, 339, 346, 347, 348).
